MISSION, BRITISH COLUMBIA – Police in British Columbia’s Lower Mainland say two people are facing a combined 34 firearms-related charges in a joint investigation across multiple cities.

Mission RCMP say a 49-year-old man from North Vancouver has been charged with 18 offences, while a 43-year-old Vancouver woman faces 16 charges.

The Mounties did not provide specifics on any of the charges.

They say both of the accused have been released with court-ordered conditions.

The Mission detachment says it worked with police in Vancouver and North Vancouver.

But RCMP say they cannot release further details due to a publication ban in the case.
