LONDON, United Kingdom England – Betting on badminton mixed doubles not your style?
Don’t worry. The British have plenty of other Olympic wagering options.
British bookmaker Ladbrokes is taking bets on what colour hat the Queen will wear at the opening ceremonies Friday. Blue is the 3-1 favourite with Union Jack colours a 33-1 longshot.
Other possible colours include purple, yellow, pink, cream/white, green, orange, red, silver, gold, brown and black.
Kate Middleton’s headgear is also open for wagering, with cream/white the top choice.
You can also bet on the weather for Friday’s Olympic opening — rain 4-6 and no rain 11-10.
