TORONTO – Holt Renfrew is hitting the road as part of a series of events to celebrate its 175th anniversary.

The luxury retailer is marking the milestone with the launch of the Hot@175 Mobile Tour which kicks off on Friday.

The travelling pop-up shop will head across the country throughout the month of September. It’s slated to make stops at locations in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver, with full schedule details posted at www.holtrenfrew.com.

The specialized truck will sell limited-edition $75 sweatshirts designed by seven internationally renowned graphic artists: Joachim Baan, Justin Broadbent, Jonathan Mak Long, brothers Andrew and Matt McCracken, Alex Viau and Jamie Webster. The artists are also profiled in short films posted on the retailer’s blog www.holtsmuse.com.

Fine jewelry designer Sergio Antonini is set to appear at the retailer’s Vancouver location Thursday and Friday.

Sir Elton John and his Canadian-born husband David Furnish are scheduled to make an appearance at the retailer’s downtown Toronto flagship store on Saturday to launch their limited-edition NEST fragrance candle.
