Spring is just around the corner and we are only four weeks away from the 2024 Spring Parade of Homes! The Manitoba Home Builders’ Association’s Parade of Homes is the signature showcase event for Manitoba’s residential construction industry, providing those interested in building their new dream home an opportunity and experience unlike any other available in Canada.
The MHBA’s 2024 Spring Parade of Homes starts on Saturday, March 2 and runs through Sunday, March 24. This year, we are proud to showcase 30 different builders. Our Parade show homes are located in 26 of Manitoba’s newest neighbourhoods and provide those looking to potentially find their new dream home with an opportunity to learn about the latest trends in new home and interior design, the hottest new home technology and cutting edge building materials and systems.
As you visit our Parade of Homes show homes, we encourage you to talk to the representative showing the home about unique features and what makes that particular home special. Visiting our homes and talking to sales agents about different options and features will help you to find that perfect fit for you and your family. These show homes represent the best in home design and construction available anywhere in Canada.

The Spring Parade of Homes will feature more than 130 stunning show homes from Manitoba’s top home builders.
Manitoba’s Parade of Homes continues to be the biggest and best parade in Canada. Once again, Manitoba’s best home builders will be presenting over 130 unique new homes on display. Having over 130 different options available to visit — each one with its own layout, materials, finishes and designs — means our Parade gives Manitoba home buyers a unique opportunity to see and experience the widest variety of home building options in an actual home setting for free. There is no admission charge for the Parade of Homes.
The best of the best of Manitoba’s new home construction will once again be on display next month. Look for the Spring Parade of Homes magazine in the March 2 edition of the Free Press and at any Steinbach Credit Union. Our Parade of Homes magazine always contains great articles and features on the latest trends in home building and home design. In the next few weeks, we will have information on each of the show home listings on our Spring Parade of Homes page at the MHBA website at www.homebuilders.mb.ca. And be sure to follow the MHBA on Instagram and Facebook for the latest Parade news, to enter fun contests, and for featured show homes throughout the Spring. MHBA builders are looking forward to seeing you at this years’ Spring Parade and welcoming you to your new home.
Lanny McInnes is president of the Manitoba Home Builders’ Association.
