Next Saturday, Manitoba’s best home builders will begin a three week showcase over 135 new show homes during the Manitoba Home Builders’ Association’s 2025 Spring Parade of Homes.

From March 1-23, people will have the chance to see the newest trends in home-building design and the latest fashions in home decor. For those looking at buying a new home, the Parade is the perfect way to see the best in today’s new housing market.

Not only does this year’s Spring parade once again feature show homes in many of Winnipeg’s newest neighbourhoods, but there are also great show homes for viewing in communities outside the Perimeter including homes in Brandon, La Salle, St. Adolphe, Stony Mountain, West St. Paul, Oak Bluff West, Grande Pointe and Headingley. The 2025 Spring Parade of Homes is truly a Manitoba-wide event!

The MHBA 2025 Spring Parade of Homes will feature show homes in 21 of Manitoba’s newest neighbourhoods as well as in the communities of Brandon, La Salle, St. Adolphe, Stony Mountain, West St. Paul, Oak Bluff West, Grande Pointe and Headingley.

The MHBA Parade of Homes is also a great way for those who may not yet be in the market to build a new home to get an up-close look at leading-edge trends in home technology, home décor, finishings and fixtures. Many people who visit Parade show homes are just curious to see what the hottest trends in home decorating are, or are looking for ideas for a renovation to their existing home. Kitchens, bathrooms and the latest technology in the show homes are always a huge draw for people attending the Parade of Homes.

With changing tastes and lifestyles, our builders understand a detached single-family home may not be the right fit for everyone. That’s why new condominiums are also an important feature of the Parade of Homes. Condos are a very attractive option for many potential new home buyers and our builders have entered a wide variety of new condo show homes for you to visit during this spring’s Parade.

Look for the 2025 Spring Parade of Homes magazine in your Free Press home delivery next Saturday. You can also pick up a copy at any Steinbach Credit Union starting March 1 and a digital copy of our magazine is available at homebuilders.mb.ca. Visiting the MHBA website will also provide you with more details on each Parade show home and connect you with your favourite show home’s builder.

Be sure to look for #PARADEOFHOMESMB and follow the MHBA on Instagram (@official_mhba) and on Facebook for a sneak peek into the incredible Spring Parade show homes. You never know, you may just fall in love with one of the homes you see or a neighbourhood you visit and decide a new home is right for you.

Lanny McInnes is the president of the Manitoba Home Builders’ Association. You can learn more about MHBA builders and renovators at homebuilders.mb.ca.
