Hey there, time traveller!

Thousands of hockey fans will be making the trip to Investors Group Field this weekend to take in the festivities around the NHL Heritage Classic outdoor games between the Winnipeg Jets and Edmonton Oilers.
The alumni game, featuring players from the past, including some Hockey Hall of Fame inductees on both sides, is set for Saturday at 3 p.m., followed by Sunday’s regular-season tilt between the 2016-17 editions of the Jets and Oilers that gets underway at 2 p.m.
There are various transportation options to get to Investors Group Field at the University of Manitoba:

• Game day parking will operate as it does for all Blue Bombers football games and most special events at IGF. Fans are encouraged to purchase their blue or gold parking passes in advance for $25 per vehicle or $10 per vehicle for value lot parking at the back of the university. A shuttle running every 10 to 15 minutes is available to get fans to the stadium and back to the value lot.
• On-campus cash parking will also be available on a first-come, first-served basis for $25 per car or $10 for the value lot.
• Park & Ride will begin operating three hours in advance of game time each day from seven locations throughout the city (http://www.bluebombers.com/park-and-ride) A $5 charge will be collected upon arrival at Investors Group Field. There is no charge for the ride back to the seven parking/pickup locations.
• Winnipeg Transit has several routes operating to and from IGF. Regular transit fares apply on the ride to the game. There is no charge for the return trip. Winnipeg Transit schedule information can be found at www.winnipegtransit.com.
• The free Running Back Shuttle will operate prior to the game from the stadium in a clockwise loop, west on Chancellor Matheson, north on Pembina and south on University Crescent then back to the stadium. Rides are free with the presentation of a Heritage Classic game ticket.
• The bike valet will be in operation outside of Gate 3.
• Taxi service is available on University Crescent outside of Gate 3.
