❯❯ About the COYOTES
— Former Jets C Alex Burmistrov is expected to make his debut tonight after being claimed on waivers from Winnipeg Monday. Slow progress on obtaining a work visa has delayed his arrival in Arizona.
— The Coyotes, who completed a league-mandated five-day break after beating the New York Islanders 2-1 in a shootout Saturday, are 12-22-6 and 13th of 14 teams in the Western Conference. It was their first victory since Dec. 15, going 0-8-1 over that span.
— RW Radim Vrbata leads the Coyotes in goals (nine), assists (15) and points (24). Vrbata has been playing on a line with LW Brendan Perlini and C Peter Holland. Vrbata’s shootout goal against the Islanders was the 44th of his career, an NHL record.

–Perlini, who played for the AHL’s Tucson Roadrunners during Arizona’s five-day break, scored a hat trick in a 5-2 win over the Manitoba Moose on Tuesday.
— LW Max Domi (hand), C Ryan White (lower body) and C Brad Richardson (fractured tibia, fibula in right leg) are on injured reserve.
