The Doug report

Bombers defensive tackle Doug Brown is on the mend but remains doubtful for Friday’s game against Calgary. Brown did not practice on Sunday and it is not known when he will return to the field. The Canadian standout has a viral infection and missed the opener.

Returns

Defensive tackle Tyrone Williams (lower body) worked out with the No. 1 defence on Sunday and is expected to be in the lineup on Friday. Also back to work were safety Steven Holness (shoulder) and cornerback James Johnson (knee).

Milt mania

Milt Stegall returns to Winnipeg this week to be inducted into the Blue Bomber Hall of Fame. He will take part in an autograph session today at the Bomber Store from 6 to 8 p.m. He will be honoured at Tuesday’s Legacy Dinner and the induction ceremony is during halftime Friday.
