THE QB
NO. 13 ANTHONY CALVILLO: Putting together a season to remember with a QB rating of 109.9, by far the best in the league. An unbelievable 76.6 per cent completion rating with 1,899 yards while completing 164 of 214 attempts. Perhaps the best stat of all, however, is his seven touchdowns against two interceptions. Calvillo has had some fine seasons in his career and already won a pair of Most Outstanding Player awards to go with his one Grey Cup. He’s on track to add to both of those totals this season.
OFFENSIVE WEAPONRY
No. 86 Ben Cahoon, SB: Leads the league with 38 catches and has compiled 475 yards but has yet to pick up a TD. Smallish, not considered fast, but perhaps the league’s smartest receiver. Gets open and makes people miss. The ultimate drive-extender.
No. 6 Avon Cobourne, RB: Has run for 485 yards on 95 carries and leads the league with seven rushing majors. The one glitch on his resumé is two fumbles. Always a threat to make something happen.
DEFENSIVE STOPPERS
No. 9 Anwar Stewart, DE: The veteran rush end has five sacks and is getting his motor running. Dangerous off the edge.
No. 11 Chip Cox, LB: Leads the Als in tackles with 32 and is always around the ball. Classic inside linebacker is the leader of the league’s best run defence.

THE SPECIALISTS
No. 15 Damon Duval, K: Leads the league in points with 82 and has made 18 of 23 field goal attempts with a long of 48. Veteran with calm nerves, one of the best with the game on the line.
No. 25 Larry Taylor, returner: The one area where the Als don’t jump off the page. Taylor has returned 19 kicks for 335 yards and a 17.6-yard average with a long of 32.
