Hey there, time traveller!

Back to the grind
After spending Monday watching film, the Bombers have two practices scheduled for the next three days, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Oh, the shame
Alouettes returner Patrick Cobourne on being tackled by punter Mike Renaud: "I got caught by the punter. That’s very embarrassing. Now I’ll have to go through the ridicule of what my brother (Avon) will say. I’m about to walk home."
D-Day
All CFL teams must reduce their rosters to 46 active players (excluding nine-game and one-game injured list) by 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 24.
FYI
- NO NEWS IS… NO NEWS: The Bombers haven’t made official the extent of offensive lineman Glenn January’s shoulder injury.
January’s status does toss a wrench into a couple of potential scenarios: 1. If he’s down for a long stretch, any possible notion of the team using two imports — along with Kelly Butler — is temporarily squashed. 2. With other CFL teams needing O-line help it affects the Bombers’ chances to move some of their depth in a trade.
In any case, January’s stretch at left tackle lasted only 11 snaps on Sunday as he was injured on Buck Pierce’s 21-yard run on the Bombers’ first drive.
"He was in a lot of pain," said head coach Paul LaPolice.
"The kid did a helluva job, he did a great job on the play… it was what sprung Buck when he went down to the four-yard line. It’s unfortunate."
- QB REVIEWS: LaPolice’s take on his four pivots after watching film:
Pierce: "Buck managed well, did some good things, made good decisions with the football."
Steven Jyles: "I thought Steven made good decisions. Even the chance with Adarius (Bowman, a dropped TD pass)… his numbers would have been better if we finish at the back of the end zone there. He had a bad throw on the interception. But he showed what he can do with his feet as well as his arm. He can chuck it downfield but he can also use his legs, so that was good."
Adam DiMichele: "DiMichele managed the game well, made some plays, had some good instincts. He’s got to protect the ball better down at the goal-line (where his fumble was wiped out by an Alouette penalty)."
Alex Brink: "Unfortunately, what these guys have to understand is when we two-and-out, that guy’s opportunities are over. If you can catch the football and make more plays, that unit of guys trying to make the team get more reps. Alex threw two beautiful throws on both routes and we dropped the ball and he doesn’t get a lot of opportunity."
- LONG TIME, NO SEE: Receiver Terence Jeffers-Harris, despite one drop, was one of the newcomers who stood out in the win over Montreal. And the date of his last game before transferring to Vanderbilt from Connecticut but never getting on the football field because he was ruled ineligible by the NCAA? Try this:
"The Meineke Car Care Bowl in December 2007 (Wake Forest beat UConn 24-10)," said Jeffers-Harris.
"So, it’s been a while since I’ve been out there. It’s too long a time to take off, actually. I was wondering if I would ever get to play again, but I didn’t have any butterflies before the game. That surprised me."
