Meeting place
Stormy weather cancelled practice at Canad Inns Stadium Friday, forcing the coaches and players inside. The break was especially welcomed by the quarterbacks, who have tired arms these days.
On the field
Kick returner Travis Shelton will be in the lineup against Hamilton. The Bombers have waited patiently for Shelton to recover from a hamstring injury and the game against the Tiger-Cats will be the last chance for him to show he’s been worth the wait.
Cutdown day
Per CFL rules, the Bombers have to get down to the 46-man roster by Thursday, 2 p.m. Winnipeg opens the 2010 regular season July 2, when they host the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
