COLLEGE CREDENTIALS: Set 25 school records with the Redbirds, throwing for 8,032 yards and 61 touchdowns.

CFL RESUMé: Signed with Saskatchewan on June 8, 2001… Traded to Toronto, then Winnipeg on the same day in 2004… Assumed starting QB job after Khari Jones was traded to Calgary in ’04… East Division all-star QB in 2007, led Bombers to Grey Cup berth, but suffered a broken arm in division final… Released by Winnipeg on March 9, 2009; signed with Hamilton 11 days later… Ranks third on Bombers’ all-time passing yardage list behind Dieter Brock and Khari Jones… Assumed starter’s role in Hamilton from Quinton Porter midway through 2009.

STATUS: Married to Asha Day. One son — Caleb, one year old.

WORST HABIT: Eating sweets. Problem is, I have a son now and how can I tell him not to eat sweets unless I honour it? Desserts, Starburst jelly beans, Skittles, peanut M&Ms.

TALENT YOU’D MOST LIKE TO HAVE: Playing an instrument like the guitar or drums. I really wish I had learned to play when I was a kid.
