DB SHAKEDOWN: The darkness in Bombers secondary heading into Week 2 appears to be finding some light after Wednesday's workout. Brandon Stewart (undisclosed injury) returned to the practice field, all but guaranteeing his inclusion in Friday's game against the Toronto Argonauts. "It's big for me to get back out here and get some time before the game," Stewart said. "I hate just standing around and watching."

Bombers head man Paul LaPolice put off declaring the 24-year-old fit for Friday, but appears to be set in the secondary with Stewart, Jovon Johnson, LaVar Glover, and Clint Kent.

WIN NOW, BABY: You can also forget about the Bombers using the first month or so of games as an extension of the pre-season. There’s no chemistry experiments and no coming together process under this coaching staff, according to LaPolice.
