GAME BALLS:

OFFENCE

Tough to pick one guy from the balanced attack the Bomb-

ers put forth, but let’s go with WR Terence Jeffers-Harris.

The rookie hauled in a 60-yard pass for a touchdown in the

third quarter. He finished with 152 yards and two TDs.

DEFENCE

Bombers DT Doug Brown had an active game, finding a way

to make an impact in numerous plays. He ended his night

with six tackles and kept a pesky Toronto run-game hell-

bent on coming inside at bay.

SPECIAL TEAMS

No question here. Has to go to Argos returner Chad Owens.

He transformed a Winnipeg FG miss into a 117-yard touch-

down, giving the visitors a 31-27 lead early in the fourth

quarter. The visitors never looked back from that point.

CRITICAL NUMBER:

Pierce had a fumble and an interception in the first quarter,

turnovers which limited the home side in the momentum

department to start the game.

FAN-O- METER:

Winnipeg QB Buck Pierce’s 43-yard run to the house nearly

brought the house down in the second quarter. The scam-

per came after Pierce was forced to leave the game after

taking a hard shot from the Toronto defence a few plays

earlier.
