Esks move Bowman to slotback

Intent on turning former Bomber Adarius Bowman into a consistent threat, the Edmonton Eskimos tutors shifted him from wide receiver to slotback, then sent him out for a test run against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

He responded with two caches for 23 yards and the kind of game that will keep him rooted in the slot for the time being.

“He really stood out,” said Eskimos head coach Kavis Reed. “He’s working very well in the slot. He caught the ball well, caught it cleanly, and he made some yards after the catch.”
