The Bombers (8-3) have heard it from coaches all week: Don’t pay any attention to the Argos’ record (2-9); treat them as just another team in just another week of play.

Adding to the concern: An emotional win against Montreal last weekend — a victory that reintroduced Winnipeg as a CFL contender.

Said defensive tackle Doug Brown about the win: “I’ve never seen a group of guys so buoyed and lifted by a victory.”

True enough. So the question for today is this: Can the Bombers keep the intensity up, in a building (Rogers Centre) that is famously quiet and indifferent to the action on the field?

“We try to treat it as another game,” receiver Cory Watson said. “If we don’t execute like we can, we could be looking at the same outcome we had against Saskatchewan.

“We don’t want that again.”
