The players, who appear well-rested and healthy after the bye week, enjoyed a light workout Tuesday; a few practising in the snow for the first time in their careers.

Despite the relatively nice November weather, the club is at the Winnipeg Indoor Soccer Complex at the University of Manitoba this morning. The plan is to return back to the great outdoors Thursday, right through to Sunday’s contest.

Players of the week

Two members of the Tiger-Cats — LB Jamall Johnson (defensive) and Marcus Thigpen (special teams) — picked up player of the week awards for their part in the 52-44 overtime win against Montreal. Als QB Anthony Calvillo (offensive) and Calgary RB Jon Cornish (top Canadian) were also recognized for their efforts in division semifinal losses last weekend.
