Hey there, time traveller!

IS 18-year-old Mark Scheifele, who has not registered a point in four regular-season games, at the start of the same road as Winnipeg Jets teammate Alexander Burmistrov?
Could be, said veteran goalie Chris Mason after Burmistrov’s superb game Monday against Pittsburgh.
“You look at pre-season and (Scheifele) was unbelievable but you’re playing against a half-roster and it’s a little different,” Mason said. “Even some of the (veteran) guys in those games, they’re kind of waiting for the regular season. You can see the difference in hockey when the regular season starts. He’s seeing that.

“I think that a couple times, I’ve reminded him on the bench, as soon as he gets the puck, you’ve got to get your head up because they’re right there. They know we’re a young team and they’re going to pressure us so you don’t have the time to get your bearings and make a move.”
