Hey there, time traveller!

About the Jets: Coming off their first win in their rebirth, a 2-1 decision over Pittsburgh on Monday… Have managed just seven goals in four games — two each from Jim Slater and Kyle Wellwood, with singles from Nik Antropov, Andrew Ladd and Tanner Glass… The power play continues to go 0-for-2011, scoreless in 17 opportunities with the man advantage… Winnipeg is in Ontario for two games in two nights, including Thursday’s tilt in Ottawa before returning home for games Saturday against Carolina and Monday against the Rangers.
About the Maple Leafs: Coming off their first loss of the season, a 3-2 setback in OT against the visiting Avalanche… But with seven points in four games and a 3-0-1 record, Toronto has been impressive early… Phil Kessel leads the squad — and the NHL, heading into Tuesday’s action — with six goals and nine points in four games while Manitoba’s James Reimer has started all four games with a 2.49 GAA and .917 save percentage… Despite their early run, the Leafs have been so-so on the power play, with just two goals in 21 chances… Free-agent centre Tim Connolly has yet to suit up for the Leafs due to injury.
