About the Jets

Winnipeg has won back-to-back games for the first time this season and the first for the franchise since last March 5-9… The Jets are 6-0 in games in which Evander Kane scores (he scored twice in two games). They are 0-9-3 in games in which he doesn’t score… Ondrej Pavelec’s next win will move him into a tie with Pasi Nurminen for third place on the franchise all-time victory list with 48. Kari Lehtonen is first with 94, followed by Johan Hedberg with 57.

About the Flyers

Philly has picked up points in eight straight games (6-0-2) and is coming off a 2-1 victory in Phoenix Thursday night — its third in a row — in which rookie Matt Read scored the winner with 18.4 seconds left… Read has six goals this season, second among rookies to Ryan Nugent-Hopkins of the Oilers and Craig Smith of Nashville… Philly is 6-1-1 on the road… Jaromir Jagr (6 G 11 A) did not make the trip after suffering a groin injury against the Coyotes.
