Coming off a 2-1 loss to Florida, dropping them to 0-9 in the second of back-to-back games… The Jets are 11-8-6 in games decided by one goal this season… Jets winger Blake Wheeler has five points (3G, 2A) in three games against the Habs this year… Winnipeg is 1-2 vs. the Canadiens… The Jets have averaged only 22.8 shots per game in their last four games. Their 2.40 goals per game is dropping, now 23rd in the NHL… Ondrej Pavelec is expected to start in the Jets’ net.
About the Canadiens
Blasted 3-0 by the Washington Capitals Saturday afternoon and have now lost three straight… Lars Eller killed the Jets in their last meeting, scoring four goals. He has just 10 goals all year… The Canadiens have now played 319 consecutive home games in front of a sell out crowd.
