үӯ ABOUT THE BRUINS

The Bruins righted a small hiccup on Thursday night, getting Brad Marchand’s overtime goal to beat Nashville 3-2. Boston had lost two in a row coming into that home game.

The Bruins have three hot scorers at the moment, all on six-game points streak out of the victory over Nashville. RW Jarome Iginla is 5-2-7 in six games; C David Krejci is 3-4-7 in six and LW Milan Lucic is 1-5-6 in six.

As one of the Eastern Conference’s top teams, leading the Atlantic at 27-12-2, Boston has been one of the best home teams. Until a home loss to the Islanders on New Year’s Eve, the Bruins had a 15-game home points streak going.

Today’s matinee will mark Boston coach Claude Julien’s 500th game behind the Bruins bench.

The Bruins are still missing LW Loui Eriksson (concussion), C Chris Kelly, (broken fibula), D Dennis Seidenberg (knee) and LW Shawn Thornton (suspension).
