Kane the sniper
With the Jets clinging to a 2-1 lead, Jets winger Evander Kane converted a pass from centre Mark Scheifele past Calgary netminder Jonas Hiller for the insurance marker at 2:08 of the third period.
Terrific trio
The Jets combination of Evander Kane-Mark Scheifele-Blake Wheeler chipped in on Winnipeg’s first three goals and were by far the best line on the ice for either team.
