Hey there, time traveller!

FOR a second straight day the injury news from the Winnipeg Jets appeared to get a little better.
On Monday, there was confirmation defenceman Grant Clitsome could be out for two weeks with an undisclosed ailment but it was also the day defenceman Zach Bogosian returned to full practice after being out since Dec. 3.
Bogosian practised again Tuesday and looks like he’ll soon be a back in the lineup. Coach Paul Maurice said that could be during the road trip that starts Thursday in Arizona.

Also Tuesday, two of the other three injured defencemen at least returned to the ice with their teammates.
Blue-liners Toby Enstrom, out since Nov. 23, and Mark Stuart, injured on Dec. 16, were both on the MTS Centre ice, though both were wearing no-contact baby-blue jerseys for the 45-minute workout.
Enstrom is projected to return to the lineup later this month. Stuart is projected for February, but said Tuesday he feels a little ahead of schedule.
Defenceman Jacob Trouba has yet to return to official practice but has been skating on his own. He’s slated to return in February.

On Tuesday, Maurice excused defenceman Dustin Byfuglien and the team’s entire top line, Andrew Ladd, Bryan Little and Blake Wheeler, from practice.
The Jets are back on the ice today before they depart for Arizona and the start of their three-game road trip.

Jets goalie prospect Connor Hellebuyck has been named to the AHL’s Eastern Conference all-star team for the league’s annual game Jan. 26 in Utica., N.Y.
He is the only St. John’s IceCaps member of the Eastern Conference team, one that includes Bridgeport rookie Ryan Pulock of Grandview.
Hellebuyck, 21, has played 24 games this season in his rookie pro season for the IceCaps. His record is 13-9-4 with a goals-against average of 2.54 and a save percentage of .923.
