❯❯ About the Blues

St. Louis allowed seven goals at home in a loss to the Washington Capitals Thursday. The loss was the Blues’ fourth in their last six games, which puts them at 23-18-5 on the season and third in the Central Division.

Jake Allen, the Blues’ No. 1 goaltender, allowed four goals on 10 shots in the 7-3 loss to the Capitals. In his last four games, Allen has allowed 13 goals on 64 shots (a save percentage of .797). Due to his unstable play of late, the Blues announced Allen will not travel to Winnipeg, meaning backup Carter Hutton will likely get the start.
