About the Habs
Minnesota’s Matt Cullen and Matt Dumba scored goals 10 seconds apart in the first period to give the Wild an early 2-0 lead on Montreal Thursday night in St. Paul, Minn., en route to a 6-3 victory. The Habs had won three of four going into the game, scoring 18 goals in that span.
All-world G Carey Price is off to a dreadful start. In 11 appearances, he has a 3-7-1 record with a 3.77 goals-against average and .877 save percentage. His career numbers include a 2.43 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage. Backup G Al Montoya, a former member of the Jets, is 1-1-0 with a 3.77 goals-against average and a .873 save percentage.
RW Brendan Gallagher leads Montreal with 10 points, including six goals. D Shea Weber, C Phillip Danault and C Jonathan Drouin are tied for second with nine points apiece.

D Shea Weber blocked six shots against the Wild on Thursday, exactly half of Montreal’s total. Weber is leading the club with an average of 26:07 of ice time per game.
RW Nikita Scherbak underwent surgery to his right knee last week and his recovery period is expected to take six weeks.
