PETERBOROUGH, Ont. – Genc Ula put away the game-winning goal with six seconds to play as the Peterborough Petes edged the Ottawa 67’s 4-3 on Thursday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Brennan Faulkner, Jonathan Melee and Brody Partridge also scored as Peterborough (17-36-8) fended off a late Ottawa rally.

Petes goaltender Easton Rye made 34 saves for the win.

Chris Barlas had a pair of goals and Filip Ekberg also scored as the 67’s (21-31-8) erased a 3-1 deficit.

Goalie Jaeden Nelson stopped 20 shots for Ottawa.

BATTALION 4 ICEDOGS 3

NORTH BAY, Ont. — Zach Wigle scored the eventual winner near the midway point of the third period as the Battalion slipped past Niagara.

Ihnat Pazii, Jacob Therrien and Jacob LeBlanc had the other goals for North Bay (24-31-5).

Braidy Wassilyn, Ryan Roobroeck and Andrei Loshko replied for the IceDogs (28-26-7).

SPITFIRES 7 FRONTENACS 1

WINDSOR, Ont. — Ilya Protas and AJ Spellacy had two goals apiece as the Spitfires routed Kingston.

Ryan Abraham, Cole Davis and Liam Greentree rounded out the attack for Windsor (41-15-5).

Jacob Battaglia was the lone scorer for the Frontenacs (35-17-8).

SPIRIT 7 COLTS 4

SAGINAW, Mich. — Kristian Epperson and Kaeden Johnston both scored twice as the Spirit defeated Barrie.

Zayne Parekh, Nic Sima and Igor Chernyshov also scored as Saginaw (36-23-3) kept its five-game point streak alive.

Anthony Romani and Cole Beaudoin had two goals apiece for the Colts (37-19-4).
