The Winnipeg product started her year as part of the Canadian women’s soccer team at the 2011 Cyprus Women’s Cup in March. Following that, Scott became the first Manitoba-trained player to participate in the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Germany over the summer, playing in two games at the prestigious tournament.

In October, she earned a gold medal as the Canadian women’s soccer club got by Brazil in the final match (1-1; 4-3 in penalty kicks) at the 2011 Pan Am Games in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Scott has also been named a finalist for the 2011 Manitoba Female Athlete of the Year.
