Hey there, time traveller!

It’s the Olympic love story you never knew you needed.
Canadian women’s hockey star Blayre Turnbull and her fiancé, bobsledder Ryan Sommer, are both representing Canada at the Games this year.
As is usual for elite athletes with tight training schedules, they sometimes go weeks and even months without seeing family members.

This was the case for the engaged couple, who had an extra special reunion, meeting each other for the first time in three months at the opening ceremony in Beijing on Friday.
Turnbull took to Instagram to share the special moment.
“Name a cooler place to be reunited with your fiancé after spending the last 3 months apart …. I’ll wait 😎,” she wrote in the caption along with the picture.
“Worth the wait🔥❤️,” her beau Sommer cheekily replied in the comments.
This comes just after Turnbull and the women’s hockey team beat Finland 11-1 early Saturday morning. Next, her team will go head-to-head with Russia on Monday.
Sommer will participate in the four-man bobled training heats starting Feb. 16. These Games will mark the first Olympic appearance for the former firefighter from Alberta.
