A man wanted for a slaying in Keeseekoowenin Ojibway First Nation last week turned himself in Monday.
Frank La Forge, a 52-year-old Keeseekoowenin resident, was wanted for first-degree murder and attempted murder. RCMP asked for the public’s help in finding him Aug. 6.
A 33-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man were shot at a home early on July 28. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. RCMP said at the time that the incident was “targeted.”
