Front-counter services will resume now that damage to a Manitoba Public Insurance building from a fire in June has been repaired.

The Gateway centre at 40 Lexington Park in the McLeod Industrial area will resume offering full services at 1 p.m. Monday, MPI said in a news release.

“This includes vehicle registration and driver-licensing transactions, as well as payments and other key services,” the release said.

The building was damaged in a fire early on June 19. MPI said Class 1 road test appointments resumed there the next day. Scheduled road tests for Class 2, 3, 4 and 5 licences, air-brake testing, and estimate appointments for non-hail damage resumed June 25.
