A child and a woman are dead after a trailer park fire in Quinte West, Ont., Thursday evening.
Provincial police say firefighters, paramedics and officers responded to the fire on Highway 2, just east of Canadian Forces Base Trenton.
They say a trailer was engulfed in flames when emergency crews arrived.
Police say a one-year-old child and a 66-year-old woman died in the fire.
A 64-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, while two other children were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say they are investigating, along with the fire marshal and chief coroner.
