BROSSARD – Longueuil police say they are investigating after a man and a woman were found dead in a home in Brossard, just south of Montreal.
Police say they were called to the home about 12:45 a.m. where officers found a 56-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman.
Const. Jacqueline Pierre says both people showed signs of injuries and were declared dead at the scene.
Police confirmed they were investigating at least one of the deaths as a homicide.
Major crimes investigators and technicians were on the scene to analyze the crime scene.
Police have also set up a command post in the suburban neighbourhood to pursue their investigation.
