BRAMPTON – Five suspects, including two youths, are facing charges in relation to a shooting that left two dead near a school in Brampton, Ont., earlier this year.
Peel regional police say officers responded to the shooting on the grounds of a school near Rutherford and Kennedy roads on the night of April 3.
They say a man and a male youth were both fatally shot.
Police say an extensive investigation led to the arrests of five suspects between May and July.
They say a 21-year-old and two 17-year-old suspects, all of Brampton, are each facing two counts of first-degree murder.
Police say a 25-year-old from Toronto is charged with conspiracy to commit an indictable offence and breach of probation, and a 23-year-old suspect from Orangeville is charged with possession of a firearm for the purpose of trafficking.
