Hey there, time traveller!

The Winnipeg Jets are taxiing toward their longest road trip of the year and they’ll be heading out with their leading goal scorer on board.
Jets’ head coach Claude Noel said during his news conference today that centre Jim Slater, the man who leads the team with three goals in six games but missed Monday’s 2-1 loss to the New York Rangers, will be available for Thursday’s game in Philadelphia against the Flyers.
“He’s ready to go, I think,” said Noel. “I was just talking with him, I have to talk to the trainer first, but I think he’s ready to go or close.

“He’s a good player, a dependable guy for us who plays with some heart.”
The Jets, 2-5-1 after the loss to New York, will practise Wednesday here in Winnipeg before travelling to Philadelphia later in the day. The road trip includes stops in Philly, Tampa, Miami, Long Island, New Jersey, New York and Buffalo.
