Hey there, time traveller!

It’s official: the Winnipeg Jets are a team that takes a licking, and keeps on sticking.
Today, Canada Post unveiled a set of three stamps to commemorate the team’s inaugural year. Charleswood MP Steven Fletcher, the minister responsible for Canada Post, said designers rushed to get the stamps out, after the announcement of the Jets’ return was made too late to include the stamps in its usual design releases.
The new designs feature two types of Jets logos. The third stamp features an image of forward Nik Antropov scoring the team’s first goal in the Oct. 9 home opener.

The stamps are printed in sheets of 21 and sell for $24.95. The limited edition collector sheets sell for $34.95. Canada Post also unveiled a new postcard, featuring the starting lineup of the first home game. The products will be sold at all Canada Post outlets and online.
