The Conservative party may not be leading in national political polls, but a survey released on Tuesday shows those who identify with the Conservative party are leading in a different sort of poll.
According to SeekingArrangement.com, a Sugar Daddy dating site, a survey of 17,402 its members who identify with a political party revealed the highest percentage of respondents identified as Conservative.
Almost 45 per cent of respondents selected the Conservatives as the party they identify with, while 33 per cent said they identify with the Liberal Party, 13 per cent with the New Democrats and two per cent with the Bloc Québécois.
The release also notes the most common occupation for men using the site’s services are CEOs and business owners, “who would be affected more than the average Canadian by the Liberal objective,” said Brook Urick, public relations manager for the site in the release.
“The men on SeekingArrangement are some of the wealthiest in Canada, often operating their own businesses as CEOs. Sugar Daddies would be hard hit by Liberal proposed taxes, which may contribute to the nature of the results.”
In Canada, SeekingArrangement.com has more than 37,000 Sugar Daddies registered.
