Hey there, time traveller!

ADESA Winnipeg is not only Manitoba’s leading auto auction, but also plays a major role in the community in helping raise funds for charitable organizations. By the end of April alone, ADESA staff had already been involved in 25 charity events in the community in 2018 and helped raise more than $4.5 million for community organizations, including the HSC Foundation, Variety, the Children’s Charity; The Dream Factory and many others.
“Our last big event was the Dream Maker auction, in support of the Dream Factory on April, 27,” says Gregg Maidment, ADESA Canada’s senior vice-president as well as general manager for ADESA’s Winnipeg operation. “Over 800 people were in attendance, and over half a million dollars was raised.”
The Dream Factory brings cheer into the lives of sick kids (children and young people with life-limiting or terminal illnesses or severe disabilities) by making their wishes — be it a trip to Disney World, meeting famous people or providing toys and games — come true.
The organization’s major yearly fundraising brings in between $600,000 and $700,000 annually.
