Hey there, time traveller!
This article was published 29/09/2023 (709 days ago), so information in it may no longer be current.
This week was supposed to be the week when the Niigaan and the Lone Ranger podcast completed its interviews with the three-party leaders.
We had already talked with Liberal Leader Dougald Lamont and NDP Leader Wab Kinew. All we needed for a complete set was PC Leader Heather Stefanson.
It was not to be. Although negotiations ran hot and heavy throughout the campaign, the final answer was, lamentably, a ‘no.’
Undeterred, Niigaan and Dan provide a detailed examination and discussion of the Progressive Conservative campaign to date. From tax cuts, to standing firm against the landfill search, and the crazy “parental rights” plank, the hosts leave no Tory campaign promise unturned.
Our interviews with Lamont and Kinew can be heard below:

Born and raised in and around Toronto, Dan Lett came to Winnipeg in 1986, less than a year out of journalism school with a lifelong dream to be a newspaper reporter.

Niigaan Sinclair is Anishinaabe and is a columnist at the Winnipeg Free Press.
