The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed Running back J.J. Taylor who played six seasons in the NFL including with Houston Texans.
The Bombers also inked two more Americans in wide receiver Dorian Singer and linebacker Micah Cretsinger.
Singer wrapped up his college career at Utah before signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent last season where he totalled seven catches for 59 yards in three preseason games. He had a brief stint on the Jaguars’ practice squad before being released.
Cretsinger played four years at Saginaw Valley State prior to attending rookie minicamp with the Tampa Bay Buccaaneers in 2025. He then signed with the Ottawa Redblacks and was one of their final roster cuts. Cretsinger was a finalist for the 2024 Cliff Harris Award, presented to the nation’s top small-college defensive player.
