Day 3 of Homemade Holidays is a simply delicious treat from reader Denise Robidoux.
I have been making this recipe since 2003. Every time I serve these crunchy peanut butter balls, I am asked for the recipe. People are surprised at how simple they are to make and how delicious they are.
I don’t remember which magazine this recipe came from; it might have been Taste of Home. Enjoy this lovely treat!
Eva Wasney / Winnipeg Free Press Crunchy peanut butter balls are easy to make.
Crunchy Peanut Butter Balls
250 ml (1 cup) smooth peanut butter
500 ml (2 cups) marshmallow creme\
375 ml (1 1/2 cups) Rice Krispies
625 ml (2 1/2 cups) chocolate dipping wafers, melted
In a large bowl, combine peanut butter and marshmallow creme. Add Rice Krispies and stir until well coated.
Roll cereal mixture in one-centimetre (1/2-inch) balls. Place ball on a fork and dip in melted chocolate. Place on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and refrigerate until set.
Can also be frozen.
