Singer Jann Arden and comedian Rick Mercer, two of Canada’s most recognizable stars, will team up for a night of stories, memories and laughs at the Centennial Concert Hall on May 17.

Tickets for the show go on sale March 1 at 10 a.m. at centennialconcerthall.com, although there are presales scheduled as early as Feb. 27. Prices weren’t announced.

Arden, 61, was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2020 and is known for her hit Insensitive.

Mercer, 54, is known for hosting longtime CBC television series This Hour Has 22 Minutes and Rick Mercer Report.

The two best-selling authors are embarking upon a 17-city tour across Canada this spring, including the Winnipeg appearance, which is titled the Will They or Won’t They tour.

The two are no strangers to touring together. They last appeared in the city on a co-book launch tour in November.
