The Winnipeg Jets officially take off on Sunday, but a book about them launches tonight.

Back in The Bigs: How Winnipeg Won, Lost and Regained its Place in the NHL is being unveiled at 7 p.m. at the Winnipeg Free Press News Café, and the launch is open to the public.

Author and Free Press reporter Randy Turner will be on hand to sign copies of the book, on sale for $35 plus G.S.T.
