Three shows announced Tuesday add to an already-packed fall concert schedule.
Portland-based rock group the Dandy Warhols will be making a stop at the Pyramid Cabaret Sept. 22 as part of their Distortland Tour. The four-piece rose to fame in the late ’90s due, in part, to popular TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and a Vodaphone commercial using their song Bohemian Like You. The group — personally chosen by David Bowie to support his 2003 tour — released Distortland, their ninth studio record, earlier this year. Tickets are $32.50, plus fees, and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.
Country songstress Terri Clark will be back in Manitoba for the third time this year, this time at the Club Regent Event Centre Oct. 14. Clark played with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra in April and at Dauphin’s Countryfest earlier this month, but her upcoming show will be a more intimate affair; she will be playing a solo acoustic set on her Back to My Roots Tour. Tickets start at $40, plus fees, and go on sale Thursday at Ticketmaster.
And Graham Shaw and the Sincere Serenaders, a popular Winnipeg band in the ’70s and ’80s, play Club Regent Event Centre Oct. 6. Tickets start at $30, plus fees, and go on sale Thursday at Ticketmaster.
