WINNIPEG — The Flood Evacuee Reception Centre in Winnipeg is scaling back its hours starting Monday.
The reception area will only be open from 1 to 6 p.m. starting Monday. The Reception Centre, located at the Century Arena, 1377 Clarence Ave,, will remain open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday, April 25 and 26.
Individuals who have been evacuated from their home and require emergency lodging or immediate financial assistance should register in person at the centre.
Evacuees who do not require emergency lodging or immediate financial assistance are reminded to register as an evacuee by calling the Canadian Red Cross Registration and Family Reunification line at 1-888-662-3211
To date, the Reception Centre has assisted 259 families, which includes 681 individuals.
Evacuees requiring further information should call 986-4000.
