Hey there, time traveller!

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are back at work this morning with Buck Pierce sporting a knee brace, Steven Jyles running the offence and a new QB on the scene.
Pierce, injured in last Friday’s loss to Hamilton, will miss this weekend’s home date against Edmonton. Pierce has his right knee braced and, despite reports he could be out for as long as six weeks, the club is insisting that isn’t accurate and that the veteran starter will miss this week’s game and then be further evaluated.
In fact, it hasn’t yet been officially ruled out that Pierce could be available for next week’s game in Calgary.
Jyles moves up the depth chart to replace him and make his second CFL start.
Alex Brink moves from third to second with newcomer Joey Elliott — the former Purdue star last with the Philadelphia Eagles — also having just arrived.
Also injured and not practising Tuesday are defensive tackle Dorian Smith, safety Ian Logan and receiver Terence Jeffers-Harris.
