WINNIPEG — After a week of waiting, the Blue and Gold baby watch has ended.
Winnipeg Blue Bombers head coach Paul LaPolice and his wife Tina welcomed the arrival of a baby boy to the LaPolice home early Tuesday morning.
Joshua Grady LaPolice was born at 4:22 a.m. at St. Boniface Hospital, tipping the scales at eight pounds, three ounces and measuring 22-inches long. The LaPolice family already has a daughter, Payton.
According to the club, both mother and newborn are healthy and doing well.
The Bombers (4-11) return to the practice field Wednesday.
