Jets’ forward Blake Wheeler has unveiled a sneak peek at the team’s new pants via his Twitter account. The pants are navy blue in colour with the Jets’ script logo featured at the bottom of the right leg. The left leg features the ‘W’ from Warrior Hockey, the manufacturer.

On Monday Wheeler Tweeted: “No jerseys for a while. Just got pants and gloves from Warrior…I’ll throw some pics on tomorrow.”  He Tweeted the photo of the pants Tuesday afternoon.

The Jets have repeatedly said since June that the jerseys won’t be unveiled until September and the expectation now is the team’s prospects will first wear them at the NHL Young Stars tournament in Penticton, Sept. 11 to 15.
