Hey there, time traveller!
This article was published 04/10/2011 (5226 days ago), so information in it may no longer be current.
Polls open this morning at 7 a.m. and will remain open until 8 p.m. tonight.
You can and should vote if you are a Canadian citizen, 18 years of age or older as of today, and have lived in Manitoba since at least March 4, 2011.
If you are on the voters list you should have received an enumeration slip with information on where to vote.
If you are not on the voters list or did not receive an enumeration slip, you can still vote.
Find out where at www.elections.mb.ca or by calling 945-3225 or, toll-free, 1-866-628-6837.
You need to take one piece of government-issued photo ID or two other documents with your name to the voting place and sign an oath.
If you are unsure whom to vote for, the Free Press website has two online tools designed to help you. If you click our Who Represents You Best? button, you can measure which party most closely matches your views, issue by issue. And our Promises, Promises button tracks party pledges made over the campaign.
You can find these as well as stories from the campaign trail at winnipegfreepress.com
The Free Press election-night coverage will be headquartered from our News Café.
As soon as the polls close at 8 p.m., we will bring you live remotes, analysis and riding results as the ballots are counted.
You can follow our live coverage at winnipegfreepress.com
