After a win and a Saturday shootout loss during their brief stay at home this week, the Winnipeg Jets left today for Raleigh, N.C., without stars Dustin Byfuglien and Evander Kane.

The Jets meet the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday (6 p.m. CT, TSN Jets, TSN 1290) and then play the Rangers in New York on Tuesday.

Both games will be contested without Byfuglien, who has been out since Christmas with a knee injury. Though he’s been skating and on the mend, Byfuglien won’t be in action until after the all-star break, which comes up later this week.

Kane missed Saturday’s game after the team said he suffered a concussion sometime in recent days. He’s also expected to be out until after the all-star break, though the team isn’t sure for how long.

The Jets, 22-20-6, play their next six games on the road.
